Lacey Verhalen

Creative Operations Designer

Visual Storyteller. Operations Optimizer. Analytical Designer. Right-Hand To The CEO. Systems-Savvy Supporter. Convive’s Front Desk Persona.

Lacey is a Swiss-army knife creative geared to elevate and optimize all things at Convive. Both pragmatic and inventive, her broad background in graphic design and artistic research has made her an expert in imaginative problem-solving. She serves as the right hand to the CEO, optimizes operations at Convive to maximize efficiencies so that creativity and joy can flow freely, and supports client projects in the capacity of an information designer and researcher.

With experience gained from years of running a creative studio, Lacey enthusiastically brings a knack for tentacular task management, proficient wordsmithing, generative collaboration, curious research, and inspired design to support Convive’s internal workings and team.

After finishing a master’s study in art praxis and critical theory, Lacey was led to pursue purpose-driven work with philanthropies, which fuelled her desire to work with organisations focused on effecting change. A veteran storyteller, (Lacey’s last name, Verhalen, actually means “stories” in Dutch) Lacey is skilled in crafting compelling narratives, whether through distilling complex data into digestible infographics or translating dense ideas into various concise and expressive forms.

Lacey currently loves learning about:
