Katherine Haugh
CEO & Founder
Leader by Example. Appreciator Extraordinaire. Self-Reflection and Development Advocate. Strategic Thinker. Creative Powerhouse.
Katherine has been a long-time thought leader and expert in the philanthropic sector before starting The Convive Collective. She began her career as a skeptic and had her mind changed about the value of philanthropic investment through evaluation and learning. She leads philanthropic change, writes, and speaks about how philanthropies can unlock and measure their impact through strategic learning.
Having begun her career as an evaluator, measuring the impact of philanthropic initiatives, Katherine became quickly interested in helping organizations digest data and make sense of it through visual storytelling. From there, she grew into a visual storytelling expert and applied her skills in the evaluation sector in such a way that she earned a reputation of turning complexity into clarity.
Prior to launching Convive, Katherine worked at UN WFP (Innovation Hub for East Africa) as an Evidence and Learning Specialist where she co-created the Hub’s theory of change, strategy and learning framework. Throughout her career, she has worked at several related organizations including at the Global Knowledge Initiative as a Senior Advisor for Organizational Learning, USAID Learning Lab as a Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning (MERL) Specialist and at Innovation Network – a nonprofit and philanthropic evaluation firm.
