Learning Experience Designer
Learning Experience Fanatic. Process Optimizer. Community Builder. Sustainability Advocate. Rabbit Hole Mapper. Mindset Mantra Maverick.
Ashley cares for our diverse, high-performing team while helping our clients create a vibrant culture of learning and development within their own organizations. With expertise in learning design, project management, and coaching, she finesses the success of large-scale projects from all directions. Her creativity, combined with her deep learning lore, enables her to connect the dots on everything from marketing strategy to existential questions. Simply put, Ashley brings the vibe and the vocation!
Early in her career, Ashley was focused on peace and conflict resolution and the responsibility of: “Where do we go from here?” This led her to linguistics, driven by the question: “How does language shape the way we perceive the world?” Finally, she found her sweet spot in learning experience design as a way to transform individuals and communities through intentional, impactful growth. Drawing on problem-solving strategies honed in the corporate world- such as action mapping, appreciative inquiry, and the ADKAR model- Ashley empowers organizations to thrive holistically.
Ashley has 15 years of international experience in learning experience design and facilitation in both the public and private sectors. She has collaborated on projects with organizations such as the Basque Climate Change Center, the Basque Institute for Agricultural Research, and the U.S. State Department. As a learning experience manager at a global edtech startup, she co-founded a cross-departmental pedagogy focus group and oversaw the executive coaching program. From a young age, Ashley has been an advocate for immigrant rights, sustainability, and restorative justice.
Ashley currently loves learning about:
Creation stories from different Indigenous cultures as early examples of how one might attempt to simplify a very complex thing
Third spaces and urban revitalization. (Favorite case study: Bilbao)
