Alexandria Sedar

Systems Change Measurement Lead

Systems Thinker. Peacebuilder. Connector of People and Ideas. Evaluation and Learning Strategist. Storytelling Enthusiast. Lifelong Curious Learner.

Alexandria supports clients in weaving systems thinking into their evaluation and learning practices. Her work centers on connecting evaluation outcomes to the bigger systems they are part of, and finding opportunities to integrate systems thinking into how we make meaning, learn, and tell stories about our impact.

Alexandria brings deep experience in helping strengthen organizations' capacity capacity to see the systems they are part of, navigate complexity, and foster relationships that make collective action possible. As both a facilitator and evaluator, she specializes in using systems thinking to strengthen sense-making, support adaptive strategy, and create shared understanding across diverse groups. She is especially drawn to the intersection of evaluation and storytelling, helping organizations paint a picture that reflects dignity, equity, and context.

For more than a decade, Alexandria has worked across the project continuum, from program design to community engagement to evaluation and grantmaking. Her experience spans international development, peacebuilding, and sustainability initiatives in Latin America, the U.S., and beyond.

Alexandria is currently energized by learning about:

  • The role of storytelling in shifting systems

  • The emotional, somatic, and psychological theories that shape how we interact, connect, and build relationships.
